Outreach Opportunities
We work to bring biochemistry to our community through a variety of outreach opportunities offered each semester. Past outreach events have involved participating in Purdue's Spring Fest, Celebrate Science Indiana, and visits to local area schools.

Spring 2022 Outreach
For Spring 2022, the Biochemistry Club Science Outreach Program will be expanding our service initiative to the Greater Lafayette Community through our partnership with Hanna Community Center After School Program. Our target audience consists of 26 kids, ranging from K-6th grade. Due to Protect Purdue guidelines and COVID-19 policies, each visit will comprise 6 volunteers. Opportunities for general members to be involved with this initiative include outreach preparation and in-person volunteering as of current. We are excited to serve the Greater Lafayette community by fostering greater engagement with marginalized populations of K-6 students and their families.

Spring Fest 2022
We will have volunteer opportunities for the College of Agriculture's Spring Fest. This event will be held Saturday, April 9th from 10am-6pm. We'd love to have members come help lead kids through fun experiments and demonstrations! Please use the following link if you're interested in helping out:
